Too easy

May 08, 2011 by Lynn Lanning

While enjoyable, World Mosaics 4 is nowhere near the challenge of the earlier games in the series. (Don't let that stop you from buying it, though - it's still fun to play. Just not as much as I expected.)
I like the way the puzzle levels are mixed, but most of them are way too easy to solve with no mistakes on the first try. Many of the puzzles are of the easy-bonus-level variety. World Mosaics 1 had more challenges than this! I'd credit it to my experience, but when I replay puzzles in WM 1, 2 and 3, I still have to do more thinking than I do in 4. I was in the Muybridge series before there was anything remotely difficult, and then there'd be an occasional challenging puzzle mixed in with easy and very easy.
Looking forward to World Mosaics 5 - which I hope is coming, and I hope will have some more challenging puzzles that are still logically solvable.
